The research group Pain and Motion treats the issue of chronic pain and its effect on motion and the musculoskeletal system. In the centre of interest hereby are pain diagnosis and the evaluation of therapeutic procedures for symptoms of haemophilic arthropathy and osteoarthritis. Furthermore, pain symptoms for competitive athletes is also a special research interest. The newly generated knowledge is supposed to enhance the pain situation of our patients and increase their quality of life in the long term.
